Day 14 (28.03.2006)
In the morning of this day we drove with a bus and a tour guide from our hotel, in Kowloon, to Hong Kong Island through a tunnel. Then we drove up the Victoria Peak, the highest mountain on Hong Kong Island. This whole mountain is wooded and the street is also lined by many trees. Driving up the Victoria Peak we had a very nice view on the different islands that belong to Hong Kong. From the viewing platform the view is very nice. One looks north and one can see Hong Kong Island (with its skyscrapers), Kowloon and the New Territories. Compared to the day before we had good luck, because the fog was gone. Then we drove to the beach in Repulse Bay. Later we were brought back to Kowloon. We went to the Jade Market and we walked through Kowloon. In the evening we ate in a restaurant in Kowloon.
