Today I went to the Wofosi (Temple of the Sleeping Buddha) together with a Chinese friend. To go there one has to pass the Botanical Garden. One enters the Wofosi through a nice gate. The Wofosi was founded in the 7th century. In 1321 (Yuan Dynasty) the statue of the Sleeping Buddha was casted. The statue concists of bronze, it weighs 54 t and it is 5.3 m long. This buddha lies on the side. After visiting the Wofosi we walked a little bit through the Botanical Garden. Later we saw a camel.
