Day 71 (18.04.2007)
Today I visited the Beihai Park again. First I went to the Circular City which is connected to the Beihai Park. In the Circular City I went to see the jade pot where Kublai Khan maybe stored his wine. This jade pot was made in 1265, it is 66 cm high and has got a diameter of 1.5 m. Later I went to the Hall of Enlightenment where a 1.5 m high Jade Buddha from Burma is kept. Afterwards I left the Circular City and, in the Beihai Park, I went north. On the way there are many nice Taihu Stones. After arriving in the north of the Beihai Park I went southwest. I went to the Nine Dragon Screen and admired the colorful 9 dragons. Later I visited some further halls and I left the Beihai Park in the south. So I walked around the whole lake.
