Day 3 (10.05.2007)
Sometime I woke up. Now outside of the train I could see a real sand desert. It took the train a few more hours to arrive in Kashgar. Because of very strong winds it took the train about 29 hours to arrive in Kashgar. Today the air in Kashgar was dulled yellow, no wonder because of the desert. The Uyghur, I met on the train, helped me to find a hotel. Today it was already late and so I had not got the time to go sightseeing. The distance between Kashgar and Beijing is over 3400 km.
