Day 8 (18.11.2007)
Today we drove from Shigatse to Shegar. We crossed the Tso-la Pass, which is 4950 m high and afterwards the Gatso-la Pass, which is 5220 m high. Later, in a distance of about 130 km, we saw the Mount Everest (8848 m), the highest mountain in the world. Later we arrived in the small town Shegar. In the evening I had a conversation with other foreigners in the hotel. Afterwards I went early to bed, because on the next morning we had to leave early.
