I worried that I may have problems to leave Pingyao, because of the snowfall and the fog and so for today I joined a Chinese tour group. Pingyao is located about 85 km (as the crow flies) south of Taiyuan. Pingyao is a city in the Shanxi Province and the special about Pingyao is that it has got a Ming time Old Town and an entirely preserved city wall. We went up the city wall and we visited many different buildings. For me it was an interesting insight into a city that looks like it looked during Imperial China. After a stay of several hours, in the evening we went back to Taiyuan.
