The Cessna Citation X is a business jet from the Citation series from the American company Cessna. In 1993 the Citation X did its maiden flight and in 1996 the delivery began. The Citation X is the fastest business jet and one of the fastest civil airplanes. The first aircraft from the Citation series did its maiden flight in 1969. The Citation II followed in 1977. The Citation I and II had got unswept wings. The Citation III followed in 1979 and it had got swept wings of 25 degree. Compared to other civil aircrafts the Citation X has got very strong swept wings of 37 degree. There are many different aircraft models which belong to the Citation series. With over 3000 sold aircrafts the Citation series is very successful.
