British Aerospace Sea Harrier

The Harrier is the first airplane on the world which is able to start and to land vertical, a VTOL aircraft. 1960 the first prototype was built which was the forerunner of the Harrier. The Harrier flies since 1969. The first firm which produced the Harrier was Hawker Siddeley. In 1975 the Sea Harrier was made, which was produced from the firm British Aerospace. This Sea Harrier was made to start and to land on aircraft carriers. The front of the Sea Harrier is different from the front of the Harrier. It is peaked. The Harrier, the Sea Harrier and also the British-American Harrier II are subsonic aircrafts. The project to make a supersonic aircraft of the Harrier was removed. The Sea Harrier was 1982 in the Falkland war and he was much better than the Argentine fighters.
