Silver
Silver is the 47th element in the "Periodic table of the elements". The chemical symbol is Ag. In history
silver was never as important as gold. It is 40 times cheaper than gold. Silver reacts strong with other materials. After
many years silver cutlery for example is covered in a dark patina. To prevent the formation of patina Roman and Greeks
covered some things of silver in a very thin gold layer, which is so thin that it is invisible. So the shining of the silver
stays. The part of silver in an alloy is declared in thousendth parts. Fine silver consists of 999.9 thousendth part of
silver and sterling silver consists of 925 thousendth part of silver. Silver is hauled in many countries. Silver is the
best electrical and thermical conductor.
